Location of the Fanes Hut
The Fanes Hut is embedded in the Fanes- Senes - Braies Natural Park amidst the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The hut is located at 2.060 metres above sea level in the Pices Fanes pastures on the old military road, which connects Pederü with Cortina d'Ampezzo.

The Fanes Hut can be reached from the alpine Pederü guesthouse (1,548 m) via a gravel road, which is only accessible to authorized vehicles. It can however also be reached by foot via other roads: via the Fanes Valley and the Limo Pass from the road between Carbonin and Cortina d'Ampezzo, from the Capanna Alpina (S. Cassiano - Valparola) or from the area of Lagazuoi (Falzarego Pass). Experts can also choose longer and technically more demanding paths via the Badia Valley to the Fanes Hut.

The hut is located beneath the Limo Pass (2,172 m) and offers a splendid view of the Tofane Mountains. It offers approximately 80 beds and an exclusive guest transport service with a jeep in summer time and a snow cat in winter time.
